When German Eldercare Experts Meet Chinese Embodied Intelligence
German leaders in eldercare, healthcare, and policy visited Shanghai to discuss the real value of robots in eldercare.

Who Were They?
This was no ordinary visitor group.
The delegation was led by Christian Gräff, Managing Director of Germany's Smart Living & Health Center, and Mario Czaja, President of the German Red Cross, and included medical directors and strategists from Korian, members of the Berlin House of Representatives, and healthcare investors.
They share decades of work in European healthcare, eldercare, and health management—and one question: as populations age rapidly, can robots genuinely help?
What Did SFLARE Present?
At a forum hosted by the Shanghai Humanoid Robot Innovation Incubator, SFLARE CEO Song Yang presented the company's vision for home embodied intelligent robots.
This was not a concept. Xinghu H1 entered its first users' homes on April 20, 2026. It proactively measures health indicators, supports early cognitive screening and training, identifies home safety risks, and accompanies the everyday moments that deserve attention.
For the German delegation, these capabilities address familiar, daily challenges.
Friendly Interaction and Genuine Curiosity
The discussion was lively.
German representatives asked detailed questions about cultural adaptation in human–robot interaction, data privacy, and accessibility for older adults. Both sides recognized a natural complement between China's hardware and scaled-manufacturing strengths and Europe's eldercare systems and clinical experience.
This conversation may be only the beginning.
A Meaningful Encounter
One aspect of the day deserves to be recorded:
For the first time, a group of European eldercare decision-makers examined Chinese embodied intelligence as a real solution.
This was not a passing glance at an exhibition booth. They sat down with practical questions, listened, asked for details, and discussed possibilities.
Germany brings decades of eldercare and clinical experience; China brings clear advantages in embodied-intelligence hardware and algorithm iteration. The logic of cooperation is compelling.
A long road remains between this conversation and cross-border collaboration, but the dialogue has begun.
SFLARE believes embodied intelligence should not be a future luxury, but an everyday partner for every family. We hope to carry that answer further.
